Concept

Our goal is to make a smart bed that measures your sleeping quality and learns which parameters improve your sleep. Also, the device will make patient care more efficient by reporting events that indicate the need for urgent patient care.

We have all experienced sleeping problems caused by excessive snoring and involuntary urination. This problem has an adverse effect on life quality and human relations. As the age of the population increases so does the cost of patient care. There is an increased need to make patient care more efficient.

We will make a bed that measures your environment and sleeping related problems. By varying different parameters like temperature, lighting conditions and angle of the mattress, the bed will over time learn which settings have a positive impact on your sleep. By increasing the comfort of patients and the population as a whole, we will help to improve the general well being of the people and make patient care more effective.
